Schooling for Me is Like...

Schooling for me is like a fresh start to life I have something other than work and coming home to my children to look forward to for the week. I wish I had done things differently but hey I didn't so I have only been out of school for 5 years and now I finally found my way back in and it yet sometimes stressful to keep up with makes me feel really good that I have chosen to do something for myself. I am a person who is always trying to help someone else rather than focus on me and what I need or want and that sometimes holds me back from I guess just being who I am. For me school is like a release to tell others no this is me time and to let them know that I need to focus on me and not everything else right now. I know sometimes its hard to say not especially to your kids but you have to do what you have to do to succeed for those children of yours. I love being a helpful person but school has made me come to realize that I am important to and without me there would be a lot of people without a helping hand to be there in their time of need. So I sit here and I thank myself for taking the steps to follow my education because without getting in school I would still just be that girl who helps everyone without helping herself and it should have never been that way.
